September is Disaster Preparedness Month.

Other than your Vidaah membership, here’s a checklist of key pieces of your Family Disaster Preparedness Plan
Animal identification
- ensure your pets are wearing their collars with ID tags and include your cell phone number on them. It's also a great idea to consider microchipping your animals.
Your Pet Disaster Kit which should include:
- Food and water for 5 days
- Medications, first aid kit, and medical records
- Litter box, scoop, and poop bags
- Leashes, harnesses, collars, and/or carriers
- A current photo of each pet and a description with any identifiable features
- Anything familiar ie, blanket, toy to comfort them
Disaster preparedness is not something we want to think about but it is important to be prepared in the event it happens. Talk with one of our Vidaah vets today about your Disaster Preparedness plan
